You have to levitate under the Termite hill and fall, and you'll warp to Freezeezy peak! This pretty much proves that the room was once separate. When you collect the Jiggy it counts towards Grunty's Lair. Map is in between a bunch of other Grunty's Lair Maps:Ġ78B - 4EF998 - 6F = GL - FP Entrance + Big LobbyĠ78C - 4F0758 - 70 = GL - CC EntranceĠ78E - 4F15A0 - 72 = GL - BGS EntranceĠ790 - 4F2180 - 74 = GL - Lava RoomĠ791 - 4F26A0 - 75 = GL - MMM EntranceĠ793 - 4F32B0 - 77 = GL - RBB Entrance This implies there was once a warp that lead back and forth to and from the 73 room, but since the warp in 6F was removed and the warp in 73 was never changed, it puts you in the default area instead. When warped from the map to 6F, you are placed in the default area, which is in front of the Cauldron. When the game tries to warp you to a warp number that doesn't exist (each door has a warp number), it puts you in a default area (each map has a different one). Getting the witch switch Jiggy wouldn't have worked, since when warping to another map you cease flying, so I believe thats why they were connected instead of separate. The white ledge looks like one of the edges that hang out from the Freezeezy peak entrance's wall. Warping to map 6F, which IS the map that I was talking about. This leads me to believe the entrance to Freezeezy Peak might have been a separate map instead of being connected to the area with the two note doors and cauldrons. Theres a warp that leads to Freezeezy peak under the termite hill.Īnd that's about it, no other freeze map has object data, but either way it's been years since we've found anything beta in any of the games, so I suppose something small is better than nothing. There is a Jiggy inside the Termite hill, you can see it stick out a bit, but you need to start a new game to see this instead of using a completed game file.

BANJO KAZOOIE ROM FREEZES CODE
Make sure to turn the warping code off first, or else you'll just warp back to map 73. Just walk around on the lower middle part of the level and I'm sure you'll find one. These warps take you to map 6F, which is the big area next to the entrance to Freezeezy Peak. There are various warps scattered around. A snowy white platform is near termite hill. This I believe it the default song for every freeze map. Go through any door when this is on.Ĩ137C4BC 43E0 - For moonjumping, because you are most likely to spawn inside a wall. This also makes it so if you enter Mumbo's Mountain normally, it will freeze.Ĩ037E8F5 0073 - Use this so you can actually warp to the map. The reason map 73 is so important is that it normally freezes, and this code enables it to load, meaning it loads the objects set for map 73, which is not normally accessed during normal gameplay.Ĩ036ABF9 0073 - This code will alter the Background display table, making it so this warp digit has Mumbo Mountain's backgrounds (basically, it's level.) Used to prevent freezing, since if a map is not on the table, it will freeze no matter what. If you change both variables it will load the Mumbo mountain's map and load the objects set for any other map in the game. The first one is to tell the game that the map has a background, the second one is to warp to that map. Gameshark Codes V1.0: (DO NOT ENTER MUMBO'S MOUNTAIN!) This is not Mumbo's Mountain! I simply use Mumbo's Mountain's Backgrounds so the map will load properly.

However, there is one freeze map in Banjo-Kazooie that does have this data. Object data is used to place things on the level like NPC's, Notes, Mumbo Tokens, Eggs, etc. One of the freeze maps in Banjo-Kazooie V1.0 has object data for it, Map 73. I'm not going to lie to you (unlike a post earlier today), it's not that big, but it's a nifty piece of trivia of BK in it's beta state.
